Crackle beads

Crackle beads are glass beads that have been heated and then rapidly cooled, which causes the glass to crack internally. The outside of the bead remains smooth but the internal fracture pattern catches and refracts light, giving them a distinctive sparkle.

They are available in strands and packets.
