Carnelian beads – Round

Description

Natural carnelian — undyed and untreated, unlike the heated/dyed grade commonly sold elsewhere.

Carnelian is a variety of chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz), coloured by natural iron oxide, giving it its orange-to-red tone. Colour and saturation vary slightly bead to bead, since it’s untreated.

Available in two sizes: 6mm and 8mm and two strand sizes – 7 inches and a 3.5 inch sample size. All measurements and amounts are approximate

• 8mm – 12 beads
